Kids, don't play in the neighbor's yard ...

... or they might bronze you and keep you as decoration. This lifesize sculpture was spotted and snapped outside a house in Northwest OKC. The house also looked kinda like a castle. ::shudder:: Is there a person alive (besides the homeowner/sculptor/warlock) that doesn't get the willies when they see this?

That's a really good workaround if you're not allowed within 150 feet of a playground.

Seriously, though, for all of you struggling sculptors/bronzesmiths out there, this is exactly what selling out looks like.

It's not selling out - it's buying in. But really, how much do you think that disaster cost?

This kitsch klassic is close to my house. In fact, I drive by it nearly everyday. The house that surrounds it is a head-scratcher, too. It's a mini-mansion (or Garage Mahal, whichever you prefer) that replaced a more modestly-sized teardown. The new house is (a) out of scale with the neighborhood, (b) breathtakingly ugly, and (c) soul-less as an evening with Richard Dawkins.
